Three ideas to leverage WFH, so it does not become WTF?

Peter PsichogiosEmployee Engagement

As most of the population moves from commuting into the office to commuting down the hall, below are three ideas to help keep your employees engaged:

1. Efficient Meetings

Recognize your employees or colleagues for running efficient online meetings. Was the meeting focused? Was the host organized? Did they know how to seamlessly use the technology? There are so many new details we all need to learn when working from home that are worth recognizing.

2. Collaboration

Working from home really amplifies loneliness and isolation, but also distractions. Recognize your employees and peers who are encouraging collaboration to stay focused, and creative, as we social distance. Collaboration from a distance can be done in various forms. Recognize your employees or colleagues who are putting in the effort to continue working together as team.

3. Socializing Virtually

With the new WFH digital office space, we are also moving to digital social hours. Has someone reached out to you for video coffee? Virtual lunch? It takes some creativity to humanize the new space. There are lots of good ideas out there; just ask your team! Reward those who are putting in the effort to stay social.
